This year’s Winter Pride afterparty has the theme Frozen Fantasy Show and offers an evening filled with comedy, drag, concerts and, of course, the opportunity to get warmed up on the dance floor.
Once again this year, the party will be held in Pressen, which will be transformed into a frosty Winter wonderland for the evening. The host for the night is drag queen Britney Corvette, known from Klovn 2 and Absalon’s Drag Race. She will lead the audience smoothly through the evening – with plenty of humour along the way.
The evening will feature plenty of music, and Camma will be opening the show. Danish-Nigerian Camma is a musician, TV host and influencer who has performed at Carpark and Uhørt Festival. She made her debut on the Danish music scene in June 2022 and gained radio success with her song “Vi ku’ tale om” and later “Hvad hjertet vil”. She is currently featured in the DR series “Camma bliver kendt”. A concert with Camma puts you in the fiercest dance mood, but also leaves space for vulnerable moments.
Danish alt-pop artist Asbjørn follows up with a hot performance filled with dance music. With his norm-breaking pop tunes, Asbjørn has won accolades from international media outlets such as DIY Magazine, Highsnobiety and The Line of Best Fit, as well as receiving a pat on the back from his own musical heroine Lykke Li. Asbjørn’s music videos have been viewed over 8 million times on YouTube and his third album Boyology was released in 2022 on the German label Embassy of Music – with Robyn, Björk and Moby as label mates.
DAYYANI ends the show with a bang as she and her band take the stage with wild choreography and high-energy pop numbers. Behind DAYYANI is 24-year-old Isabella Dayyani from Aarhus, Denmark, the granddaughter of a Persian carpet trader, who draws inspiration from her upbringing in Middle Eastern music culture, she brings an impressive musical weight to her poppy universe with full diva energy and a sparkle in her eye.
After the show, the party continues as pop mastermind DJ Entree plays the hottest tracks and lights up the dance floor. During the party, drag superstar Philipina will deliver fabulous performances and the trio The Arctic Winter Foxes will take centre stage with scantily clad and erotic gogo dancing.
All in all, it’s going to be a great night – there’s no dress code, but if you want to, you can come dressed in your most frosty blue, silver or glittery outfit. Everyone is welcome to the show, as long as you want to celebrate Winter Pride and be respectful to other guests.
Tickets can be purchased via Billetto, where Early Bird tickets are available for only DKK 150 until 1 February. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend the party. A limited number of tickets are available at a reduced cost to those who might need them, email [email protected] if you would like to know more.
Winter Pride takes place from 19-24 February with debates, film screenings, Pride Night Live and much more at Huset-KBH. The full programme will be announced on 26 January.
