Steve Taylor
Steve Taylor (he/him) has been Head of Secretariat of Copenhagen Pride since April 2022. Reporting to the Board, Steve is responsible for the day to day management of the organisation and delivering our events.
In addition to his role with Copenhagen Pride, since 2023 he has been Vice President of InterPride, the international Pride network that licenses WorldPride, and since 2016 a Board Member of the European Pride Organisers Association, licensor of EuroPride. He co-founded Global Pride 2020, the online Pride event that attracted 57 million viewers during the pandemic.
Before joining Copenhagen Pride Steve was Director of Communications & Marketing for Copenhagen 2021 WorldPride and EuroGames. Previously he was a member of the Pride in London team from 2013 to 2019, and in 2016 he co-founded the UK Pride Organisers Network.
Steve has worked in civil society and political campaigns and communications for more than 20 years, covering issues including human rights, disability, children’s rights and health. He has written for more than 100 news outlets and is a regular commentator in the media.
Originally from the UK, Steve relocated to Denmark in 2020 with his husband Kieron and Instagram star Daniel the Spaniel.
