During the spring, a number of businesses that were Partners of Copenhagen Pride in 2023 decided that they would not be partnering with us this year.
One of the most disappointing impacts that this has is that the LGBTI+ employees of those businesses are not able to join the Copenhagen Pride Parade with their colleagues. And we want to fix that. So we are inviting all LGBTI+ employees of those businesses to register with us to march in the Parade. There won’t be any logos or branding, nor business names, but they can still show that they march #withPride.
Registration is necessary so that we know how many people will join, and so that we can group people together with thier colleagues. People can bring their partner(s) and/or child without registering them separately but each colleague should register themselves.
Participants in these groups will be in one of two sections of the Parade and this will be notified to registered participants in due course.
At least one person from each company or organisation will need to be a Parade Guard. This means walking with the group and generally ensuring that the rules and regulations of the Parade are followed. Information about this will follow after confirmation.
Participants should complete this form no later than Friday 9 August 2024. You will be notified of your group and position on Tuesday 13 August but you will need to arrive at Frederiksberg City Hall at approx 13.00 on Saturday 17 August.
