The Copenhagen Pride Youth Team has gained a new member and is now taking the bull by the horns and setting ambitions high for the rest of 2022 and 2023!
Alberte Schmidt (She/Them) and Lukas Clare (He/Them) are Youth Team managers at Copenhagen Pride and for the rest of 2022 and all of 2023 will work with inclusion and engagement of the young LGBTI+ segment in the organization.
With a vision of organizing more events and activities during the year they hope to be able to make the organization more transparent for young people and a social meeting point for where we can meet across the community and form relationships, but also strengthen the individual through community, inclusion, and education.
The Youth Team is launching a project that focuses on young people’s involvement in Danish politics, and going forward there you can look forward to events such as Christmas parties, New Year’s celebrations, quiz nights and other social gatherings, and of course planning for Copenhagen Winter Pride in week 8 and Copenhagen Pride 2023 in August.
