We currently have the following vacancies in our Secretariat based in a cosy office in central Copenhagen, a few minutes’ walk from City Hall Square.
Communications & Partnerships Coordinator
Copenhagen Pride is seeking a Communications & Partnerships Coordinator to join our Secretariat team and coordinate our day-to-day communications and our relationships with our commercial partners. This is a complex, interesting and rewarding role at the forefront of helping us to deliver our events throughout the year.
The position is based in our office in central Copenhagen. This is a full-time role for a fixed term until 30 September 2025, with a possibility of extension if funding and budgets allow. Note that vacation cannot be taken in weeks 28-34 inclusive.
Core tasks
- Draft and edit content in both Danish and English on our website and on third party websites where we host content
- Draft and manage content for our program in our app and online
- Plan, draft and schedule posts on our social media channels, respond to incoming queries and messages, and manage live content during events
- Coordinate the onboarding of new commercial Partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met and providing excellent customer service
- Liaise with our media advisors to support PR activities and help to coordinate media interviews and related activities
- During events, coordinate photographers, videographers and other communications-related volunteers, and troubleshoot issues that arise with partner activations
- Coordinate the implementation of Pride’s individual fundraising campaign
- Attend meetings with internal teams, working groups and board members to support communications and partnership activities
- Be a ‘hands-on’ member of the Secretariat team, working across all aspects of the organisation as necessary
Your skills and experience
- Educational background (or at least three years’ experience) in communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Experience of working with communications in a professional environment, ideally in a cultural, event management or NGO setting
- Knowledge of the LGBTI+ community and topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
- Willingness to occasionally work irregular hours, and extra hours during events (extra hours accrued during events are compensated with time off later)
- Fluent in Danish (essential) with professional competence in written and spoken English
