Copenhagen Pride is a volunteer-led community organisation that organises events focused on LGBTI+ human rights, politics, social inclusion, culture, performance and free expression and assembly. We are part of a global movement of more than 2,000 Pride organisations worldwide.
Our best known events are Copenhagen Pride week each August and Winter Pride each February, but we organise events throughout the year. We are approaching our thirtieth anniversary in 2026 and today we are known throughout the world for our events, including WorldPride in 2021.
Scenography contractor
Pride Square / Rådhuspladsen is at the heart of Copenhagen Pride and our stages there each August draw crowds of hundreds of thousands over eight nights of performances. We are interested in receiving proposals from set designers and scenographers who would like the opportunity to work on bringing our theme to life each year on our stages.
As a small organisation that has to raise every kroner we spend, our budgets are very limited and in 2024 the scenography budget is 150.000kr. So this is not an opportunity with huge financial reward, but it is an opportunity to contribute to one of our city’s most iconic events that creates change for LGBTI+ people globally.
