In the February cold, Copenhagen Pride is bringing together the LGBTI+ community with the return of Winter Pride Week from 20-25 February. As usual, the week ends in style with a big bash of an afterparty, which like last year will take place in Pressen with live performances and entertainment in collaboration with Queer Music Agency and Draghouse.
After five days of talks and events in Huset-KBH, Copenhagen Pride invites the LGBTI+ community and its allies to come together to celebrate, dance, and party into the night. The party will feature a live performance by Taralilah (she/her), a powerhouse of punk, techno, and hyperpop who brought her show of explosive power and confidence to the stage of Copenhagen Pride Week 2022. Her debut album ‘Magnetic Feels’ came out last year with a sound universe that is based on a mixture of the vulnerable and the violent, which is expressed in sharp and well-produced productions.
After the performance, Copenhagen Pride are happy to present sets from three of Copenhagen’s coolest DJs. Anira Orlando alias Sinfohme (she/her) is an upcoming DJ with roots in Sabaah and Future Female Sounds. She is a queer trans woman of color, who has started her DJ journey first and foremost because she loves music and has a great knowledge of different genres, but also because queer femme DJs like her are missing! ADEXIA (she/they) is a Danish DJ and electronic music producer based in Copenhagen. Their inspiration comes from experimental and avant-garde soundscapes from the future. She is known for playing groundbreaking, progressive and seductive electronic music. With her unapologetic appearance and alluring bass-music, she has been playing visceral sets at festivals and venues like Fluid Festival, Alternative Fashion Week Afterparty, Kvindehuset, Depot Radio and many more. Jonas Tuk (he/him) is one of the freshest breaths from the Copenhagen scene. He has an insatiable love for music, he is a very versatile DJ, which you can feel in the way he plays at the decks.
Apart from the music, the afterparty will feature a quiz presented by some of Copenhagen’s most fabulous drag queens. We recommend you join the fun, because the prizes include a MATE bike with an estimated value of €3000!
Tickets for the party are 170 kr. and available via Billetto. The price of your ticket supports Copenhagen Pride’s work year-round, including our Solidarity Fund which has recently given grants to LGBTI+ organizations in Denmark, Ukraine and Ghana. We know times are tough for some people, so we also have a limited number of QueerPlus tickets available for 50 kr. for those who need them. Just email [email protected] to ask about these.
The doors open at 20.00 and entertainment starts at 21.00. Trust us – this is one party you will not want to miss!
Copenhagen Winter Pride takes place from 20-25 February and is a celebration of the queer community with an emphasis on moving closely together in the cold, dark months and to learn from each other’s experiences. The theme this year is QueerPlus, which puts intersectionality front and center and seeks to emphasize the often forgotten ways we experience the world differently as LGBTI+ people.
