Wristband

Again this year, we are selling our official support wristbands. The wristband sales go directly to the organisation and are hugely important for us to continue our work for LGBTI+ rights all year round, as well as our two annual Pride events.

And this year, the wristband is greener than ever!

It begins with the wrapping, which was previously made of plastic. This year, the wristband is wrapped in biodegradable material made from corn starch. The information card that comes with the wristband is made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, which means that all wood, paper and other wood-based materials come from recycled or recyclable materials. The bracelet itself is woven from thick polyester yarn and fastened with an adjustable bamboo bead.

Inflation and the economic crisis have forced many manufacturers and shops to raise prices, but we have made the active decision to keep our prices unchanged and the bracelet still costs DKK 50. Copenhagen Pride will always do our best to put accessibility and inclusion first, also when it comes to financial means. If you are able to donate a few extra kroner, you can use the QR code on the information card to support the Solidarity Funds.

The wristband is on sale NOW in our webshop, and it will go on sale at major retailers across Denmark from July.
